Ingredients

  • Can of refrigerated pizza crust
  • Minced garlic
  • Small jar of pizza sauce
  • Pizza seasoning (or Italian seasoning)
  • Pepperoni
  • Italian cheese
  • Candy eyeballs

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Lay out the pizza crust onto a baking sheet.  Cut in half lengthwise and then down the middle to create 4 rectangles.  Using a paring knife make 7 slits on each side leaving a 1” strip down the middle that remains uncut.

Spread garlic down the middle first.  Then spoon pizza sauce over and using the back of the spoon smooth it out.  Sprinkle all of the dough with pizza seasoning.  Top with pepperoni down the middle.  Sprinkle cheese over pepperoni.

For the top of the mummy, fold the strips straight over each other.  Leave a space below this top to put the eyeballs.  Next, start at the bottom and criss cross every other strip all the way up, but do not cross over the eyeball spot!

Bake until done.  This took about 13 minutes for my oven.  Remove from oven.  Add eyeballs.  Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
